Eindelijk, ze is thuis. De fabriek, leverde mijn eerst uitgezochte lijst niet meer. En moest ik een nieuwe uitzoeken. Dit alles heeft zes weken geduurd. Maar nu hangt ze dan eindelijk aan de muur. Net voor kerstmis.
Ik ben intussen met Three Worlds bezig van MC.Escher. Ook leuk om te doen. Heel wat anders. En ook weer op 18 ct aida. Want met the First Rose was het erg oppassen om niet mis te tellen. Het linnen werkt toch heel anders. Maar het is gelukt. Iedereen hele fijne dagen gewenst en een mooi 2012.
Finally, she's home. The frame factory, has stopped with the production of my first selected frame. So I had to pick a new one. This had lasted for six weeks. But now she is finally on the wall. Just before Christmas.
I am now working on the Three Worlds of MC.Escher. Also fun to do. Quite different. And again on 18 ct. aida. For the First Rose i had to be very careful not to miss count. Working with linnen is very different. But it was successful.
